Steel Box Girder - More Cross Section Sketches
We could do a single steel box girder like these. This provides a wider area on the bottom for the scattered columns to connect to.

Cool. This might be a good directions since it will allow us more freedom on column placement, and simplify the structure v. decking issue.
I noticed that the overall depth dropped from .68m to .5m here. Ill just step back and hope that itll keep dropping over the next few weeks. Heh.
Oh is cause the girder got wider?
And also Scott, do you foresee any complications if the width of the bridge were to vary from 2.5m to 4m, assuming the girder widened with the bridge?
Dong, yeah I just eyeballed it and made the girder a bit shallower, since we made the bottom flange wider. Varying walkway widths is fine, although it would be easier to fabricate this if we used a section like the Leonhardt or Corus one where the top plate cantilevers beyond the box.
